Youve made the decision to get PMU services done, here is what you’ll need to know prior to your scheduled appt.
* Double check your upcoming schedule for outdoor activities, vacation, sports schedule etc. Sun exposure can affect color retention. To avoid unwanted color change, please keep area clean, covered and protected with sunblock.
* Avoid tanning beds. But if tanning is a must keep are covered.
* Please avoid any alcohol consumption the night prior to your procedure.
* Regarding liquids the day of- No caffeine, No energy drinks and Not much liquids intake.
* FISHI OIL supplement is NOT a good combination for the procedures in general. Causes fast fading and color retention during healing process.
* For EYELINER services- it is important contact lenses are removed prior to the procedure. Eyeliner procedure will not be performed for clients with Glaucoma. If using Latisse or any type of lash treatment with same ingredients discontinue the use of the product for 2 weeks
* BLOOD THINNERS: Please inform artist is using Blood Thinners
* Children are not allowed during procedures.
* If scheduled procedure needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, please give the front desk 48 hours notice prior to appt date for refund or date change.
LIP BLUSHING
* 2 days prior to lip service- exfoliate & moisturize lip area 2x a day. This will help create a more even toned canvas for the artist to work with. May use professional lip scrub or home ingredients like sugar and honey or substitute honey for olive oil.
* If you have history of herpes simplex or cold sores ,advice to ask your primary physician to prescribe the antiviral Aciclovir to avoid the cold sores. (Optional). Starting 24 hrs prior to the procedure and continue for 4 more days.
* Arnica supplement before and during healing process helps with bruising ,swelling and healing faster.
Expectations on finished work
* The finished procedure is NOT the final look. Skin is fresh and sensitized after the service. Redness and sensitivity are natural and expected response by your bodys immune system.
* Remenber, Permanente up make goes under the skin not on top as regular make up.
* Trust the process. Allow the area to heal properly with aftercare products and instructions from the artist. Touch ups will fix any remaining issues after 45 days.

* After procedure area worked will feel sensitive , some clients may experience some swelling.
* Sanitize hands before touching area.
* Make sure to keep worked area clean and away from dirty envirolment to avoid infection

DAY 1 TO 7

BROWS: Use Qtips or finger tips to apply a slight amount of healing cream once every night
Wash the area every other day starting 48hrs after the procedure.
LIPS: keep lips mostrurized applying healing cream constantly through the day.
Wash area after all food consumption

EYELINER: Wash area with baby soap provided or Saline(preferably) 2 times a day starting 24hr after procedure . Apply healing cream once a day.

Day 7 to 30
Fading fase

BROWS: Some scabing might occur, color will loose the warm tone then fades about 20% to 60% .starting to look natural by 20 to 30 days to be ready for touch up.

LIPS: Very light peel starts by 5 days of procedure , color will fade about 20 to 80% . For lips procedure it takes longer for the color comes back to the surface reappearing after 30 to 45 days.

EYELINER: 50/50% chance of very faded or less fading during healing process, sometimes a full scabing in the area may occur. No worries its normal for that to happen . Results will look more intense after 30 days.

THINGS TO AVOID:

• Direct sun exposure during healing process (use sunscreen and hat to protect)
• Excess sweating 1 yo 5 days
• Tanning beds
• Scratching the area

30 to 45 Days
Skin is ready for touch up

On your second session , shape , color and assimetry can be ajusted. A 3rd session might be necessary depending on skin type. (charges may apply)

THINGS TO REMEMBER:
Your Permanent Make up its color placed under the skin , it is different then having Make up over the skin . Be patient during healing fase, the results depends on home care, immune response and skin type.
For your Touch up appointment please make sure to confirm appointment 48hrs prior to the service or if need reschedule the max period it’s 90 days from the day of the first session.
